Eye screening for kids held

A group of 20 ophthalmologists from Narayana Nethralaya, in collaboration with Aruna Chethana and Seva Bharathi, conducted the eye camp under ‘Slum 10K Project’. Among the children screened, 41 will receive free spectacles. Children with other eye problems will be treated at the hospital, among which 16 will be treated for cornea, 14 for squint, 11 for amblyopia, nine for lid and orbit, four for retina and two for trauma. Over 30 slums in and around Marthahalli were covered in the screening camp. The next camp is scheduled to be held in December
