In ‘Beauty Shop’, Gina moves to Atlanta and works in a beauty shop run by the stuck-up Jorge. Gina always dreams of owning her own beauty shop. When Jorge insults her one too many times, she quits the salon and opens her own business along with Lynn, who also used to work with Jorge. Ginas beauty shop becomes very popular. Soon, when Jorge’s clients begin to shift here, he sets out to take revenge. But it seems that Jorge has underestimated the power Gina and her co-workers. Tune in to ‘Beauty Shop’ on MGM at 9 pm on April 6. The movie stars Queen Latifah, licia Silverstone, Andie MacDowell, Alfre Woodard and Mena Suvari.

     Enticed by advertisements for the newly-restored Marigold Hotel, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. The movie stars Judi Dench, Tom Wilkinson, Patrick Pearson, Hugh Dickson and James Rawlings.

The influence of a witch

Catch Ek Thhi Naayka on Life OK at 11 pm on April 6. This week, the show will focus on a story based in Lucknow, Aamna Shariff and Bhanu Uday. Adding a surprise element in the show is Huma Qureshi, who debuts on television with Ek Thhi Naayka. The story revolves around the lives of a married couple, Razia and Mohsin. The duo, who have been longing for a child for long, meet Gazal. Razia immediately takes a liking towards her and brings her home. However, Razia’s happiness is short-lived as the family falls prey to unforeseen incidents. When Razia decides to find out the reason, Huma Qureshi — who plays her friend — steps in and help her out of the misery. She reveals the mystery of the influence of a daayan in their lives. Will Razia be able to find out the reason behind all the strange mishaps? Catch the show to find out.

Watch ‘Wolf’ on Zee Studio at 5.10 pm on April 7. Worn down and out of luck, aging publisher Will Randall (played by Jack Nicholson) is at the end of his rope when a younger co-worker snatches both his job and wife out from under his nose. But after being bit by a wolf, Will suddenly finds himself energised, more competitive than ever and possessed with amazingly-heightened senses. Meanwhile, the beautiful daughter of his shrewd boss begins to fall for him without realising that the man she’s begun to love is gradually turning into the creature by which he was bit. The flick also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader, Kate Nelligan and Richard Jenkins.

Life takes an about turn

In ‘Enemy of the State’, Robert (played by Will Smith) is a successful lawyer and appears to have it all — a beautiful wife, an adorable son and a house in Georgetown. But a chance meeting with an old friend changes his life forever. The friend is on the run from NSA agents and places a video tape on Robert’s person without his knowledge. The tape has proof of Congressman Phillip Hammerso’s murder. Now, the NSA starts interfering in Robert’s life, which falls apart both on the personal and professional fronts. The only man who can help him is surveillance expert Brill (essayed by Gene Hackman). Will Robert be able to get out of his troubles with his life intact?
