Salman Khan turns ticket seller for 'London Dreams'

"It was Vipul's idea to connect with audience. Every film needs promotion and it should be done differently for movie," said Salman who played booking clerk for fans wanting advance bookings for the film at the Delite theatre here. The actor's presence made the crowd outside the hall crazy, with everyone wanting to buy the autographed tickets by Salman. Around 10-15 people left the place smiling flashing their autographed tickets.

'London Dreams' which hits theatres on October 30 is directed by Vipul Shah and revolves around a young man's travails in trying to make it big in the music business. The film stars Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Asin Thottumkal in key roles. "The film is about friendship and how one friend helps another to realise his dreams," said, Salman who is riding high after the success of 'Wanted'. The film also sees Salman reuniting with actor Ajay Devgn after a gap of ten years. The duo was last seen together in 'Hum Dil Chuke Sanam' (1999).

"It was good to share screen space with Ajay because in Hum Dil De Chuke we had very few scenes together. Even Asin was brilliant in the movie and I would love to act with her again," the 43-year-old actor said.

Vipul Shah, whose earlier film was titled 'Namaste London' insists that he stuck to 'London' because the script required the film to be shot there. "The film demanded shooting in London and the name is lucky for us as Namaste London was a hit so we decided to choose the name London Dreams," Vipul Shah said.
