JOIN USSpeaking to presspersons, SP Manjunath Annigeri said two buses will ply from Wednesday morning. If the demand is more, then additional buses will be deployed. KSRTC has been asked to charge nominal fare. It will ply in the city without time limit. After 8 pm, the bus will enter via Raja Seat to KSRTC bus stand.
Facilities have been made to stop KSRTC buses at APMC maidan for the convenience of the public. Private buses will be stopped on other side of the maidan.
CMC President P D Ponnappa and Commissioner Srikanthrao said three temporary toilets will be constructed at APMC maidan within three days for the convenience of the public. At the same time, drinking water and electricity will be provided. Moreover, 100 chairs will be placed for the seating arrangement, they added.
