Just pamper your taste buds

Sri Hanuman Sweets, located in Sahakar Nagar, will take one by surprise with its wide variety of sweets and savouries.

So much so that one is bound to come back for more.

The owner, Prathap Singh Raj Purohit, originally from Bikaner, loves to please his customers’ taste buds by suggesting different items and even combinations.

Prathap says, “We are glad we’re able to offer different options to our regulars.
We always try to include their needs and easily make changes or combinations according to what they require.”

The place offers an affordable menu. A must-try at the eatery is the authentic rabri ghewar and the creamy lassi with nuts in it.

One can also try the different types of kachoris like sweet kachori, onion kachori and the plain kachori with green and tamarind chutney. 
  
For those who like Gujarati cuisine there’s dhokla and for all those chaat lovers, there’s a list of affordable and hygienic options.

Apart from the pani puri, dahi puri, papadi chat, dahi kachori  and other such items, the place also caters to lacha katori, mix chat, paneer pav bhaji and cheese pav bhaji. “We maintain authentic tastes and ensure its made hygienically,” says Prathap.

The eatery also sells different namkeens and other sweets like malai chamcham, sponge rasgulla, nagara, malai sandwich, angoor rabri and more. Taruni, a PhD student, says, “This eatery is a great respite from the regular food. We often order the dhokla. They also have the best kachoris and different options to keep your taste buds alive.”

Sindhu Shah Jayakumar, an IT professional, says, “I’m a regular here. After a tiring day at work, I love having the creamy lassi here. It rejuvenates and reminds me of the lassi my mom used to make. The nuts in it are a surprise. I haven’t had lassi elsewhere with the same taste.”

She goes on to add, “Whenever I have friends with me, I make it a point to relish chats and the chamcham as well. The ghewar they have here is very authentic too.”
