Uncompress files

Here is a nice tool to uncompress files online. Go to http://wobzip.org and upload a zipped file by using the “Browse from computer” option. Then click on the “Uncompress” button.

A list of files will appear, which you can save by clicking on the filename. Your files will first be uploaded to WobZip server, where it is uncompressed. Each file is encoded with a hash, so you can be assured that your files will not be opened, viewed or distributed by anyone else. You can also save your files as a ZIP file by clicking on the “Download as zip” button. After use, you can delete the uploaded files either individually or in batches. There is a 100MB limit on filesize.

Iconfinder, a search engine for icons, provides high quality visual aid to spruce up your online presence. Go to www.iconfinder.com and search for any icon you want to find, say mobiles.

A list of free (mostly for personal use) and paid icons show up. You can download them in three different formats PNG for Linux, Mac and Photoshop, ICO for windows and ICNS for Apple OS. You can also download them in different sizes. There is a form to submit icons as well.
