A teenager was killed on the spot when the two-wheeler he was riding hit a road divider at Kunigal on National Highway 48, on Saturday.
The victim, Tejas, 19, a resident of Maruthi Nagar in the City, was returning from Yediyur with his friend Vishwas when the accident occurred. Tejas lost control of the vehicle when he hit the road divider and fell into a roadside trench with the bike. Vishwas, who was riding pillion, sustained serious injuries.
Kunigal police have registered a case.
