With foot thumping music from the latest Bollywood chartbusters in the background, the young and the young at heart were all kept in good spirits.
Corporate honchos from Electronics City and the younger lot from some of the IT companies were in full force, making the most of a Sunday morning. “It’s wonderful to have a run like this away from town, it’s much easier to organise this event at a place like this,’’ said Vaishali Kasture, managing director, Goldman Sachs.
Some of Vaishali’s colleagues getting ready for the corporate relay soaked in the occasion as the drumbeats grew louder.
“We like running behind each other, we are running for each other,’’ added Alefiya Mamaji,.
Although it was serious running for some, the theme at the event, by and large, was ‘Run For Fun’.
