Celebs, fashion and music made their day

priceless night

Stars breezed through the city to celebrate the 3rd anniversary bash of Josh mobiles recently.

In the glamorous presence of Miss India World 2013, Navneet Kaur, the gorgeous and talented Prachi Desai, king of melodies Udit Narayan and the perfect ‘Jodi’ anchors Hussain and Roshni Chopra (who ensured that the spectators had a gala time with their wise cracks) the event turned out to be a big hit with everyone.

Embellished with live performances and a fashion show by celebrities, among whom the 20-year old Navneet Kaur walked the ramp, dressed to the nines. The showstopper looked stunning in a shimmering black outfit which had been specially designed for the occasion.

But the audience went ballistic when Udit Narayan took to the stage and began with his evergreen Papa kehte hain, bada naam karega and then went on to sway the audiences with Tu hai meri kiran; Mein nikla gaddi leke and Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani. His voice echoed across the crystal and sapphire ballroom and left everyone mesmerised, not to mention asking for an encore. While most were happy listening to him, there were others who rushed for his autographs and for a photo op with the talented crooner.

It was a magical treat to watch Prachi Desai dance on her hit numbers.
She danced gracefully to Pee loon from Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and held the audience in a state of trance. Well, almost.

Harshida Madhaparia, the contestant of Indian Idol 3 also rocked in a lovely yellow gown and kept the listeners tuned in, as she sang and danced to Fevicol from Dabangg 2 and Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
