KPCC observers to tour LS constituencies

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G Parameshwara on Friday said he would send party observers to all the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies to get the names of probable candidates for the next elections.

He was speaking at a programme where Muddahanume Gowda rejoined the Congress after quitting the JD(S). Gowda headed the Tumkur district unit of the Congress between 1997 and 2007.

Parameshwara said that there are indications that the Lok Sabha polls may be held in October or November. In the next 10 days, the observers will tour all the LS constituencies and later, the party would form a committee to tour the constituencies to select the candidates, he added.
