Number game begins in rival camps



Sriramulu told reporters here on Monday that five more MLAs joined the Reddy camp in Hyderabad. However, he refused to disclose their names. “In a couple of days our strength will go up to 80. We will parade all our supporters at once,” he said.

Tourism Minister Janardhana Reddy had held talks with the party central leadership in New Delhi. The top leaders had agreed to consider opinions of all MLAs before announcing their decision.
The CM also held talks with his supporters till late in the evening on Sunday. According to sources the CM told his supporters that the BJP came to power by projecting him as the candidate for the CM’s post. He would allow the party continue in power only if he was allowed to continue in the position.

Acharya meets Guv

Home Minister Acharya, on Monday met Governor H R Bhardwaj soon after returning from New Delhi, and briefed him the ongoing political developments in the State.  
He told reporters that the party high command had made it clear that there would not be change in the leadership.
