
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been invited by the Lambeth Basaveshwara Foundation to lay the foundation stone for the installation of Basaveshwara statue in London, on September 14.
Former mayor of the London Borough of Lambeth Neeraj Patil met Siddaramaiah in Bangalore on Friday and invited him to be the special guest.
The British government has allocated a public land on the banks of River Thames in London Borough of Lambeth to erect the statue of the 12th century social reformer.
