PG dip in learning difficulties

Brindavan Education Centre and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan are jointly awarding postgraduate diploma (1-year part time) in learning difficulties.  The primary objective of this course is to educate teachers to empower children with specific learning disabilities (SLD). The course is open to teachers and graduates with excellent skills in English, and will begin in July with theory classes on Saturday afternoon and practical sessions on weekdays part time. MA in development studies

The Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women’s Studies Centre, in the University of Pune, offers  MA course in gender, culture and development studies. The course content, pedagogical practices followed in the classroom, skills imparted, and internships (all the students are offered block placements/internships in leading organizations involved in the social, media, and development sector) enhance career prospects making the course distinctive.
Students will be selected through a written admission test and interview, conducted by the KSP Women’s Studies Centre in the second half of July. Eligibility criteria for applying is graduate degree in any discipline. Test questions will address contemporary issues. Students will be evaluated on knowledge of gender-related issues and presentation of ideas. Admission test can be answered in either English or Marathi.

PG dip programs

Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF) invites applications for post graduate diploma programs from the University of London with academic direction from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), for the academic session 2013-14. Programs offered are diplomas in Economics, Finance, Banking, and Management, which the students can study as weekday or weekend programs. Applicants are required to have a three-year (full-time) bachelors degree with minimum 50% of marks and taken Mathematics in class XII. Counselling programme

The certificate programme on counselling children and teenagers, conducted by Prerana, an academy for growth and guidance, has opened admissions for the sixth batch. The 10-month long programme starts in July and theory classes will be held once a week between 10am and 4pm. MBA scholarships

Newcastle University Business School has announced new MBA scholarships for Indian students. A number of Global Leader Scholarships have been developed to support the best students in India by offering tuition fee reductions of £2,500, for a full-time MBA programme.
