JOIN USPool B toppers, KSP, who looked rusty to begin with, fought back in style to trounce rivals 22-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-17.
Coming into the match with three consecutive wins under their belt, KSP were tipped to run away with the game but BSNL’s spiker duo of south-paw Avinash and Ravi Kumar kept the score ticking for their side as they took a 20-11 lead before closing out the set 25-22.
KSP stepped up pace with setter Ramesh leading the way in the second set.
In the third set, KSP took control of proceedings despite a good show by BSNL’s Avinash.
Avinash again did well as BSNL took an early lead in the fourth but Ravindra thundered in some strong smashes to guide his team to victory. KSP lead Pool B with eight points.
