Second Avengers film titled 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'

The superhero follow-up of 'The Avengers' will be called 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron', it has been announced.

The name of the much awaited sequel has been revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, reported Ace Showbiz.

Tom Hiddleston turned up to the Marvel panel as his 'Thor' and 'Avengers' character Loki causing the crowd to chant his name.

'Avengers' director Joss Whedon then took to the stage saying, "I have one more thing to add."

He introduced a video made up of 'Avengers' dialogue, which ended up revealing a shot of the head of Marvel villain, Ultron.

The title of the sequel was then shown in the video as 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
In the comic books, Ultron is an artificial intelligence created by Dr Henry Pym aka Ant-Man.

Ultron goes on to try to destroy his creator and conquer Earth.

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will start shooting in London next year.

The Marvel panel also featured previews of 'Thor: The Dark World', 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
