Director Rohaan Satghare has completed the shooting of his first Hindi art movie Akath Kahani at Bejova (Rajasthan).

The film has been produced by Yugraj Jain under the banner of his Hind Pictures. Suresh Utekar is the director of photography of the film, which stars Meghana Nikade, Shiv Sharma and producer Yugraj Jain himself, along with Shrikant Shinde, Pragati Gaikwad, Indarpreet Kaur, Aradhan, Jyoti Parmar and Viraj Lamkhade.

Talking about his film, Rohaan says, “My film revolves around the story of a mother, who sacrifices every moment of her life for her son and family. I have set out to drive home a subtle message in a not-so-subtle way through my film, that will make the younger generation — who remove their parents from their house and life, because they feel that they are a

burden on them — think several times before doing this kind of a selfish act. It will change their minds about the way they think of their parents.”

The film is set for release in August 2013.

Though it is his debut film as a director in Hindi, Rohaan Satghare has earlier directed not just one, but two films in Marathi — Trusha and Love is Waat.
