JOIN USPopular cartoon character ‘Shaun the Sheep’ recently brought smiles on the faces of many children at an event held at Forum Mall. Kids were excited to catch a glimpse of their favourite character. Different kinds of fun games and activities made the event even more interesting. The children were also seen dancing with the character. The sheep had admirers in teenagers and adults.
Zulfi Khan and her son Hasnain were seen enjoying the event. “We have a common liking for this cartoon character and though my son has his exams, I made sure that we attended the event as it is a huge stress-buster for him. I love watching the show and both of us often end up watching it together. It was great meeting ‘Shaun the Sheep’,” said Zulfi.
Hasnain was equally thrilled to meet the character, “It was like a dream-come-true for me, I am a huge fan of the character and I never miss it. I am glad that I could meet Shaun and shake a leg with him,” said Hasnain.
Children actively participated in the games that had been organised for them. While some could be seen making a tower with toy bricks, others could be seen applying their wit and common sense for different activities planned for them. Eight-year-old Sam and seven-year-old Sarah participated in some of the games and also managed to win some prizes.
“I am really happy that I participated. It was a fun game and the best part was that I got an opportunity to click a picture with ‘Shaun the Sheep’. I am going to
show it to all my friends now,” said Sam.
Children could not stop themselves when ‘Shaun the Sheep’ came out to meet them. While some wanted to shake hands with the cartoon character, others wanted to dance and even click pictures with it. Kevin, who was there with his mother Amrit, wanted to see more of ‘Shaun the Sheep’’s family.
“He is really thrilled to see Shaun and is asking me if he can meet his father and his friends. He had a lot of fun,” Amrit said.
