Legal awareness necessary

Senior civil judge M Brungesh opined that if the students were not aware of the legal laws they would be forced to face problems in future.

Speaking at a legal awareness programme at the government boys PU college in the city, organised by district legal services authority, Bar association and district administration, he said every citizen should to abide by the law.

He advised the students not to ride two-wheelers without procuring the necessary driving license.

DDPI Siddadevaru said the students should not ride the vehicles until they are 18 years.

B Basavaraju of Juvenile Justice Board stressed on eradicating child labour and said 2,500 child labourers had been brought to the mainstream of the society. 

Government PU college principal Guruswamy presided. Advocates B Mamatha, Rajesh, Nagendra and others were present.
