Nandini products to be available in all shops from today

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Hegde said that Nandini products including Nandini peda, Mysore pak, lassi, butter milk, flavoured milk, badam powder, Belgaum Kunda, Jamoon mix and other items will be supplied to all shops once in two days in vehicles.

He said that a ‘scratch and win’ lucky coupon scheme will be launched to promote the sale of Nandini Mysore pak and peda. The scheme will begin from November 9, Hegde said adding that lucky winners will bag gold, silver coins and 1,000 other attractive prizes.

A new dairy plant of 1.5 lakh litres milk production capacity will be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore in Manipal, Hegde said adding that the capacity of Mangalore dairy will be increased from 2 lakh litres to 3 lakh litres at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore.
