Dinesh walks into record books

Al-Ameen men, Maharanis women claim team championships

Dinesh timed 1:45:23.0 to erase his own mark of 1:51:25.0 set last year in a solo journey, with his rivals way behind. Eswara of SVP College won the silver, finishing more than half an hour after Dinesh had crossed the line.

Harish Kumar K of Al-Ameen won the men’s 100M in 11.0 seconds while Shalini Naik of BMS College claimed the women’s 100 in 12.6 seconds.

Al-Ameen in the men’s section and Maharani’s Arts College among women took home the team honours. Amith Yadav of Oxford College and Shalini were adjudged the best athletes.
