<p>To fill the remaining vacancies after the completion of the first and second rounds of CET counselling, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decided to conduct another round - the vacancy round, starting August 9. “As per the directions of the Supreme Court, the government can conduct counselling rounds till August 15. The option entry for this round will be open from 10 am on August 9 to 2 pm on August 12,” said Higher Education department officials. <br /><br /></p>.<p>KEA will announce the seat allotment results on August 13. Students have to pay the tuition fee and download admission orders on August 13 and 14 and report to colleges by August 14, 5.30 pm latest. The vacancy round will not be open for diploma or supplementary exam candidates. Students who have currently enrolled in colleges through the CET are also eligible for the vacancy round. Should the student choose a different seat in the vacancy round, the seat allotted to them earlier will be cancelled.</p>
