Ask him whether India has suddenly become a goldmine for Hollywood  directors, he says, “Yes, but films get cancelled too, like Shantaram. Bollywood has its own rules; you can only work from within the industry. I can see my effort to make a film here only as a joint effort. You need the support of people within the industry, whereas Hollywood specialises in pulling people from around the world.”

Is it true that he is making a film with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead? “Well, Anubhav Sinha approached me for the film. We are considering the Kumars, Kapoors and the four Khans. And yes, the Roshan guy and Abraham too. That’s it!  They are the only ones in the industry.”
