The president of the Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners and Agents Association (FKSLOAA), G R Shanmugappa has been appointed as president of the All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) , a national body governing the interests of truck operators, for a tenure of two years, said a press statement issued on Monday.
