Sindhia had quit the JD(S) in 2005 protesting H D Kumaraswamy’s decision to join hands with the BJP to form a coalition. He then joined the BSP only to be dumped by the party chief Mayawati.
However, in the recent days, he bought peace with the JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda. Sindhia even openly campaigned for the party during the recent byelections to the State Assembly.
He re-joined the JD(S) amidst hundreds of his supporters and JD(S) leaders, including Gowda and Kumaraswamy, by obtaining the primary membership of the party.
