4 of a family end lives

 Two daughters-in-law, belonging to the same family, allegedly ended their lives in a suicide pact, along with their children at Saligrama village in KR Nagar taluk.

The deceased are Savitha, 25, wife of Narasimhegowda, her sons, Darshan, 3 and Hemanth, 2 and Yashoda, 20, wife of Anandgowda, the younger brother of Narasimhegowda. Savitha, a native of Moodalabeedu, was married to Narasimhegowda of Chikkanayakanahalli five years ago and Yashoda, of Guluvina Attiguppe was married to Anandgowda, two years ago.

The couples used to often quarrel and on Thursday, when things went beyond control, Savitha, her two children and Yashoda are said to have allegedly jumped into the Chamaraja left bank canal.
