JOIN USNIIT Technologies on Monday announced the appointment of Sudhir Chaturvedi as its Chief Operating Officer. Sudhir joins NIIT Technologies from Infosys where he last served as senior vice-president and head of financial services Americas business unit.
In this newly created position Sudhir will be responsible for sales and delivery worldwide for technology and business services.
Speaking on the appointment NIIT Technologies CEO Arvind Thakur said, “The company is preparing for its next phase of growth with an eye to scale business to $1 billion annually. Sudhir’s induction would bring fresh perspectives and enhance leadership bandwidth to execute on our next phase of growth”.
“Sudhir, 43, has rich and varied experience of over 20 years across geographies and industry segments. In his 13 year stint at Infosys he played a leadership role in the company as EMEA Retail Head, EMEA sales head, and Europe manufacturing vertical head, before moving to the US as financial services business unit head. Sudhir has also worked at Ernst & Young in the UK, and with AF Ferguson and Ogilvy & Mather in India,” NIIT said in a statement.
