Unidentified men hacked an autorickshaw driver Arul, 30, to death on Wednesday night in JP Nagar.
According to the police, Arul’s wife had parted ways with him and had returned to her parents four months ago after the couple developed differences of opinion. The suspects called up Arul at 10.30 pm and asked him to come near JP Nagar 5th phase.
When he arrived there, they attacked him with knives and bludgeoned him to death.
“Problems in Arul's marital life might have led to the incident,” a the police officer.
