Embroiled in a maze of memories

Catch ‘The Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind’ on Zee Studio at 10.15 am on September 6. This is the story of Joel, who discovers that his long-time girlfriend, Clementine has erased all her memories of Joel with the help of a psychiatrist. 

Irritated with the fact that he is still in love with a girl who doesn’t remember him, Joel decides to undergo the same procedure. The film, which takes place mostly within Joel’s mind, follows his memories of Clementine backwards in time. 

As Joel’s memories progressively disappear, he begins to rediscover his love for Clementine. It becomes clear that Joel just can’t get Clementine out of his head. The movie stars Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Gerry Robert Byrne, Elijah Wood and Thomas Jay Ryan.  

Reliving a happy phase 

Watch ‘17 Again’ on WB at 12.01 pm on September 6. In the movie, at 17, Mike is the star of the basketball team in his school. His happiness knows no bounds when he is all set to receive a scholarship. The plot takes a twist when he finds out that his girlfriend is pregnant. He gives up on everything to marry her. Soon after the wedding, Mike starts to complain about the life he lost because of the wedding. His wife throws him out. To add salt to his injuries, Mike loses his job and goes to his high school to relive his happy memories. Could he be 17 again? 
Picking up the wrong call

Tune in to ‘Phone Booth’ on Star Movies at 10.30 am on September 6. 

The movie is about Stu Shepard, an arrogant publicist, who gets out of trouble and lies with his clever charm, connections and charisma. Stu lies to his wife Kelly and cheats on her. 

Upon answering a call in a phone booth thinking it is his lover Pam, Stu finds out that the caller on the end is an invisible sniper who knows everything about Stu, including his relationships. 

When he realises it is not a joke, Stu is placed in a powerful mind game of wits and corruption. The caller has Stu as his hostage, who demands he comes clean to his wife.The New York city police eventually arrive and demand Stu to come out of the phone booth. The movie stars Colin Farrell, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker, Radha Mitchell and Katie Holmes.
