JOIN USMYSORE RACE RESULTS
Race favourite Perfect Soul, ridden by S John, clinched the JH Foley Memorial Cup over 1800 metres, the feature event of the races held at the Mysore Race Club on Friday.
Perfect Soul finished a massive seven and a half lengths ahead of Euphoria (Vinod Shinde up), who finished second.
My Lakshmi, piloted by I Chisty, came third while Thrillseeker, guided by Prabhakaran, finished fourth.
In the day’s last race -- T Dougall Memorial Plate -- Balas Dream, Sue Nevell, Private Party and Prazsky withdrew from the event on veterinary grounds.
Officials from the MRC, however, said the incident had nothing to do with Strangles which had affected horses around a month ago.
The event was won by Cool Baby, piloted by H Rathod.
