Banana Cake

Ingredients :

- 2 cups of Maida
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup butter
- 1 and ¼ cups sugar
- ¼cup buttermilk
- 3 green bananas
- 1 table spoon baking soda
- ½ table spoon baking powder
- 1 table spoon vanilla essence
- ¼ table spoon salt
- ½ cup nuts

Method :

Sieve the maida and add baking powder and baking soda. Add salt to this and keep it aside.  

Put butter and sugar in a mixer grinder and grind till it becomes creamy, then add the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla essence and chopped bananas.

Grind it again till the mixture becomes smooth and there are no more lumps left.
Add this mixture to the sieved maida in a vessel. Mix both well and pour the batter into a greased and powdered cake tin and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.

Bake it for 35 minutes at 200ºC. Once it cools, cut it and add any icing of your choice if you require.
