Puneeth Rajkumar

For him movies were more like keeping dad company on the sets. In all of the 12 movies that Puneeth worked in as a child artiste, he played the role of Dr Rajkumar’s son on-screen. His career highlight as a child artiste was when he won the       National Award for Best Child Artiste for the film Bettada  Hoovu in 1986.

Puneeth debuted as a solo hero in Appu. People still have high expectations from him, and he is living up to them.

Baby Shamili

This cute, little, bubbly girl struck gold in her very first film as Anjali in Mani Ratnam’s Anjali. Since then Baby Shamili was seen in many movies including few Kannada films
like Swethagni.

Today, this talented girl has got a great start with Anand’s Oy, where she has starred
opposite Siddharth.  Going by the career graph of her sister Shalini, another child actor who made it big in South, we sure can expect much more from her.

Master Manjunath

One versatile actor, who charmed the audiences through his bubbliness and cute looks, is Master Manjunath. His most popular role was as Swami in Swami and Friends and Malgudi Days. He has worked with many popular stars but in a majority of his films, he starred with Shankar Nag. Today, he is looking after the public relations of a company and scripting a new film which he plans to direct very soon.

His coming back to the screen seems less likely as he still awaits good roles.

Aftab Shivadasani

He may be seen in very few movies now, but Aftab Shivadasani has been a part of some real blockbusters during his childhood days.  Playing the younger versions of two of the most talented actors in the country, Amitabh Bachchan  in Shahenshah and Aamir Khan in Awwal Number, he brought life on to the screen with his innocence.

Though he is pursuing a career in films, he still awaits a good hit.

Urmila Matondkar

She was the cute little girl in Masoom who grew up to be the Rangeela girl. Urmila Matondkar is one of those child actors, who shot to fame even as an adult and has fared far better than her other co-star in Masoom, Jugal Hansraj.
