Releasing the August 2013 report of Sakaala, Minister of Law & Parliamentary Affairs T B Jayachandra said the services will also be complimented by help desks across 177 taluks, apart from the main offices in 30 district headquarters.
“This will mean that there are as many as 207 help desks for easing the process of applying for the services under Sakaala,” he added.
According to the report, while the worst performing district under Sakaala was Chikmagalur, Uttara Kannada district was the best performer.
Kolar, the report noted, showed most improved performance over the past 30 days jumping 18 places to second rank.
The Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) Principal Secretary Shalini Rajneesh said that Sakaala services will see an addition, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s voice recording being relayed on IVRS, taking feedbacks from citizens.
