Unable to impress his kids

The 66-year-old actor’s children don’t care that their father is famous and “aren’t too impressed” with the Oscar-winning star. “My kids aren’t too impressed with me. They don’t say very much about my career. Sometimes they Google me, though. And who knows what their friends say,” De Niro said.

The Taxi Driver star who has four children and one adopted daughter from his three relationships, said the reason for their behaviour can possibly be related to the fact that they were not brought up in the Hollywood bubble. “We had a house there, my first wife and our oldest kids. But I never really lived in it much. I like to visit Los Angeles, but I wouldn’t want to live there,” De Niro said.

The American actor would next be seen in the comedy sequel Meet The Little Fockers but is unsure of putting any high bets on the film. “I don’t know if I can say it’s the best one, that’s for the audience to decide, but we are having fun,” he added.
