JOIN USA total of 410 people have been benefited by the scheme, in road accidents, 753 pregnant women and 14 post-delivery cases have also been benefited under the scheme, according to District Manager of Kolar District Arogya Kavacha 108 M N Raghavendra Prasad.
He was speaking at the Arogya Kavacha 108 awareness programme organised at the Traveller’s Bungalow in Mulbagal town on Tuesday.
Several people residing in the rural areas have been benefited by the services extended by the Arogya Kavacha 108. Inspite of this, there was a need to create more awareness on this regard in the rural areas. This could be achieved through the Janasamparka programmes organised for the benefit of the people, he said.
This Arogya Kavacha 108 facility is available in Mulbagal town and also at Nangali and Bairakooru villages, Raghavendra Prasad said.
Social worker Gundappa, supervisor of Arogya Kavacha 108 R Nagaraj and several other important persons were present on the occasion.
