Vidya, Neena for Worlds

Reigning National snooker champion Vidya Pillai topped the selection camp for the IBSF World Snooker Championship at the KSBA hall here on Wednesday.

Vidya Pillai and runner-up at the camp, Neena Praveen, will represent India along with Chitra Magimairaj and Arantxa Sanchis at the world bash, to be held from Nov 28-Dec 8 in Latvia.

While Vidya and Neena will be travelling to Latvia at government expenditure, Chitra’s trip will be funded by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports. 

Manan Chandra, Brijesh Damani and Shahbaaz Adil Khan will represent India in the men’s section.
