A software engineer’s wife committed suicide after her husband allegedly chided her for not knowing English.
Priyanka Achar, 29, was married to Hari Prakash, a native of Uttar Pradesh, for the last 10 months. According to police, Prakash was criticising Priyanka for lack of English knowledge.
According to Priyanka’s mother, Prakash belittled her daughter which drove her to commit suicide. Prakash has been missing from the time of the incident. The parents of Priyanka have lodged a complaint with the Madiwala police.
