MBA in Law

The Centre for Managemengt Studies, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, has invited applications to the two-yar full-time MBA in Law programme commencing in 2014. The MBA programme offers specialisations in court management, corporate governance, financial services and capital markets. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognised university. Last date for receipt of applications is February 20, 2014. Certification course
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Applied Materials, Inc have announced the extension of their partnership to offer a certification course in “Semiconductor Technology and Manufacturing” through IIT Bombay’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP) for the second year.

This course, designed to bridge the existing skill gap in this specialized high-tech sector, complements the Government of India’s in-principle approval for the establishment of two semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the country. The six-day course starts on December 10, 2013.  Those with a diploma or a bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering are eligible to apply. Talent hunt
About 1,22,840 students registered for the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) on November 24 for the first stage at 460 centers spread across 21 states and Union territories of the nation. Based on the result of Stage-I, 6000 students shall be selected for second round i.e. Stage-II and will write another test on December 22, 2013. Finally, 800 lucky students shall win the 100% scholarship awarded by AESL.  The total number of seats is to be divided between the qualifying IIT-JEE and Medical aspirants.  For Stage-I, at Bangalore branches, total numbers of students enrolled were 3,606, out of which 3,120 students gave the exam.
