Super Sujjan fires 66 to be tied third

 Sujjan Singh, who hurt himself in a freak accident two years ago, continued his comeback with a fine four-under 66 that gave him a share of the third place at the end of the first round in the $1.3 million Hong Kong Open here on Thursday.

Ireland’s David Higgins posted a six-under-par 64 to grab the first-round lead.

Sharmila misses cut

Sharmila Nicollet missed the cut with a second round 78, which was only marginally better than her first round 79, in the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, the season’s final event on the Ladies European Tour.

Taipei ‘A’ in lead
