To conquer Amethi, AAP leader Vishwas does a Rahul

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas on Monday continued mocking Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for the second consecutive day at Amethi for “having meal with dalits with TV crew but not doing anything for their betterment.”

Vishwas, who was in Amethi, not only visited the house of a dalit on Monday, but also chose the same house visited by Rahul around five years ago. Rahul had spent a night at the house of a dalit woman Sunita Kori. Rahul’s visit was widely reported in the media.

Incidentally, a camera crew also accompanied Vishwas. When asked, the AAP leader said he was in the vicinity and was told that the house of the dalit woman was nearby.

“I was in the vicinity. Party workers informed me that Sunita’s house was nearby. I only wanted to find out if Rahul’s visit had changed anything,” he said.

“I have not come here as a prince. I am here as a servant,” he said. Vishwas said nothing had changed for Sunita. She reportedly told Vishwas that her house had been torched, but received no help from Rahul despite her repeated pleas.
