<p>As many as eight candidates have secured a 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 - for seats in the 13 Indian Institutes of Management. <br /><br /></p>.<p>All the candidates who achieved this feat are male and from an engineering background. Two of the candidates have a masters degrees. While three of the candidates are from Mumbai, one each is from the cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Samalkot and Vijayawada. <br /><br />In the next highest category of 99.9 percentile, there are 10 candidates who achieved this feat. Only one of them is a female. <br /><br />Three of the toppers come from a working background in the fields of banking, information technology and automobiles. <br /><br />Owing to the scam of inflated scores that rocked CAT 2012, the authorities of the test decided not to partner with a private entity this time. Instead, they took the help of the National Informatics Centre. </p>
