JOIN USThe Judicial Magistrate First Class Court here on Friday granted bail to Mohammed Yaseer, who allegedly posted semi-nude pictures of him with a female student on Facebook.
The Manipal police said Yaseer would be released by Saturday morning. He was arrested on January 9 and remanded in judicial custody for 15 days. On Thursday a petition for bail was filed.
Girl allowed to write exam
Principal of the Poornaprajna College Sadashiva Rao said the girl has been allowed to attend classes from Monday, after the student and her mother tendered an apology.
She would be allowed to attend the exams on January 27 and the management has also given her an opportunity to continue her education in the college. He said students in the college are told not to make derogatory comments on her return.
