A new brand in the market, Blumerq features a host of casual wear for men. It is unique in its approach and epitomises new, casual and chic styles that cater to the needs of the fashionable young men of today.

The makers have been inspired from music and that reflects in the cool designs of the brand. Be it collared shirts or T-shirts, denims or casual trousers, the young men can be rest assured that they have plenty to choose from.

Blumerq has the trendiest shirts, tees, polos, shorts, denims and chinos and is not that heavy on the pocket. These clothes have been  inspired from music, which is an inspiration that not many brands can boast of, according to L Joseph Muthaiyan, CEO of Blumerq. “Our target audience is the middle-class and upper middle-class segment especially youngsters in the age group of 18 to 35, who like music and travelling.

So the collection consists of a range of vibrant colours like lime green, flashy yellow and bright blue. The colours have been chosen keeping music in mind. Digital aesthetics are given a twist with an interesting interplay of colours,” he explains.

Joseph further points out that Blumerq resonates with pop and rock culture and therefore, stands out in a market full of generic apparel. “So far, we have finished three seasons. Inspired from African safari, our latest collection is an autum-winter one and consists of shirts, T-shirts, polos and shorts. When it comes to pants, the current collection largely consists of denims while the spring summer has more of casual trousers.

Nowadays, everyone wants the effect of denims on trousers. The old style of checks and stripes are back in the market as well,” he says. Ask him about the USP of the brand and he informs, “Our attractions are knit T-shirts and casual trousers. But if you had to sum up our USP, it would be high fashion at a competitive price.”

Dhanya, the head of design, agrees with Joseph. Keenly involved with each and every design, she informs that the designers keep a tab on all the latest trends in the market. “We follow the international fashion forecast and try to amalgamate the best of everything. We want the youth to identify with our brand in the same way as we relate to their energy and style,” she says.

The brand has two exclusive outlets in the City at Inorbit Mall and in Basaveshwaranagar. Shoppers can also purchase them online on sites like Home Shop 18 and Flipkart. Currently available at 314 retail points, the brand plans to open 270 more retail points across India and add accessories to its collection too. “Our clothes are available in places across Karnataka like Mysore, Shimoga, Udupi and Mangalore as well,” he explains.
