Four students will be finally chosen from among the Training Camp participants who will represent India at the 4th International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO), September 19-28, 2010, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, according to a press release. The one and a half hour objective type test would be held at 10 am on January 24, 2010 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dharwad, Goa, Guwahati, Hissar (Punjab), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
The syllabus (with weightage) covers Geosphere (45), Atmosphere (20), Hydrosphere (15) and Astronomy (20). Details syllabus is available on www.ieso2009.tw/home/2a_scient.html
