Senior HC advocates to meet SC Chief Justice

Several senior counsels along with K N Puttegowda, Chairman, Advocates Association Bangalore (AAB) and Sadashiva Reddy, Former Chairman, Karnataka State Bar Counsel (KBSC) will go to New Delhi on Sunday to submit a memorandum to the Supreme Court Chief Justice K J Balakrishnan seeking directions to the Chief Justice P D Dinakaran not to conduct court proceedings.

Puttegowda speaking to Deccan Herald said that the delegation includes senior counsels including three former advocate generals -  R N Narasimhamurthy, B V Acharya and A N Jayaram. Other senior counsels include Padmanabha Mahale, Subramanya Jois and Pramila Nesargi.

Though K N Puttegowda refused to reveal details of the memorandum, he said that the delegation will request for the speedy probe against the Chief Justice with a request to refrain him from conducting a hearing or directing him to go on leave until the probe is complete.
