According to the complaint, the girl befriended Athar a few months back through a social network website.

Athar Jan 31 called the girl to a hotel located in the Rani Bagh area where Anam was already present.

Athar raped her in a room in front of Anam and also threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the assault, it was said in the complaint.

After the girl returned home, she told her parents about the incident and also informed the police.

Police said Athar, a master of business administration student, was arrested from his Pitampura house Wednesday while Anam was nabbed from Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj area.
