BJP State General Secretary C T Ravi has accused the Congress leaders of trying to create conflict in the society in an attempt to avoid discussions on certain significant issues bothering the nation.

Addressing mediapersons on Friday, C T Ravi said that despite CAG report pointing at Rs 18,00,000 crore corruption during the Congress regime, the party is under an illusion of controlling damage through advertisements. The Congress government is facing several allegations including the allotment of 2G spectrum, coal scam and it has to be accountable for these allegations.

Issues like price rise, falling value of rupee, lack of employment opportunities should be the main agenda in the 2014 elections. Public opinion has to be created based on the success and failure of the Central government.

Forecasting the party will have to stand in a culprits position if such issues come to discussion before the public, the Congress leaders are hatching a conspiracy to create conflicting matters in the society, he said. On the reservation debates raised by Congress leader Dwivedi, he said the reality has been sidelined in the debate. The BJP is of the stand that reservation must exist till the day when untouchability prevails and all the caste and community members become a part of the mainstream. “Conspiracy is made to fix a RSS leader in Samjoutha Express incident, for baseless reasons. The  Congress has got into the tactics of hiding the real issues like the failure in administration and corruption, by shifting attention towards debatable issues,” Ravi flayed.

He predicted the Congress of losing the Parliament election with two digit seats.
On the encroachment issue, the MLA said that Advocate General Ravivarma Kumar speaking on be half of the government, has spoken on evicting the encroached land. In a meeting with the revenue and forest department officials on December 10 and 11, a decision was taken to prepare an action plan for clearing the encroachments and a circular on the same was issued to the deputy commissioner on December 23.

“An action plan for clearing the encroachment of 63,677 acre land in Chikmagalur district has been prepared through tahsildars and has been sent to the government through the deputy commissioner. The master plan on clearing the encroachers is ready,” he announced.

He criticised MP Jayaprakash Hegde for blaming the BJP for the mistakes committed by the Congress. It is the Congress government in the Centre that  had submitted an affidavit before the Supreme Court on the ban on arecanut citing the reason of harmful contents in arecanut, he said.
