Ambani ruling like East India Co: Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday launched his party’s election campaign from native state Haryana in Rohtak resorting to his usual rhetoric, accusing everybody from Rahul Gandhi to Narendra Modi and Mukesh Ambani of being corrupt.

He compared Mukesh Ambani with the East India Company, saying that “Ambani was ruling this country like East India Company used to do.”

The former Delhi chief minister did not spare the media either for telecasting and publishing fake surveys that indicated a BJP win in the forthcoming general elections.

Kejriwal, while addressing his first rally after quitting as Delhi chief minister, charged Ambani with funding the rallies of both Rahul Gandhi and Modi. Ambani, Kejriwal alleged, gives money to the BJP. “Ambani has Modi in one pocket and Rahul in another pocket.

Modi says he will bring back all the money from Swiss Banks if he forms the government. I want to ask Modi if he will bring back the money from Mukesh Ambani’s account?” Kejriwal said.

Showing a picture of Modi with Adani’s helicopter in the background, Kejriwal said, “I learnt that crores of rupees are spent on Modi’s rallies. He (Modi) claims that he was a tea vendor. Can he explain that from where has he got a fleet of aircraft and helicopters in which he is reaching various parts of the country to address his rallies?”
His tirade then rolled over to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda whom he accused of distributing farmers’ land to Reliance and Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra.
