Clarify ties with Mukesh, Kejriwal tells Rahul

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Monday wrote a letter to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi seeking clarification on his relationship with Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Industries.

He also asked the Congress leader whether he would give tickets for Lok Sabha poll to Veerappa Moily and other ministers who are facing corruption charges.

He has already written similar letter to BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He has put four questions to Rahul.

“Do you agree with the price of $8 per unit gas being given to Mukesh Ambani? If you do not, could you tell your government to cancel it?” Kejriwal asked. “What kind of relationship do you and your party have with Mukesh Ambani?” he asked in the next question.

The third question asks, “Huge amount of money is being spent on your poll campaigning. And from where is it coming?

The last question relates to ticket to “tainted” ministers.

“Will you give Veerappa Moily the ticket in coming Lok Saba polls? Your ministers including Salman Khurshid, Kamal Nath, Chidambaram, Sharad Pawar and Kapil Sibal have been facing allegations of corruption. Will you give ticket to all of them?” he asks.

He has alleged that the decision to hike the gas price, being given to Ambani, “might have been taken after a nod from your family”.

The AAP leader has also asked whether he uses Ambani’s planes and helicopters.
Kejriwal has alleged that the hike has been made couple of months before elections. He has asked whether Ambani has given funds in white or black.

He has also said that since it is being said that “you will become the prime minister when UPA wins, you should clarify the matter”.

The former Delhi chief minister also wondered why both Rahul and Modi are silent on the issue, while asking them to make their stand clear.
