Delhi-B'lore sector fliers make most of promo airfares

Passengers flying between Delhi and Bangalore appear to have a special knack in making the most of discount sales offered by airlines in the country.

The bookings for Delhi-Bangalore flights have increased by 476 per cent in the past 24 hours, becoming the top route, after four airlines came up with massive discounts for travel for a period for three months starting April 1. The Bangalore-Delhi sector is at the fourth place witnessing a 158 per cent rise in bookings after the discount sale started on Monday early morning.

Last time too, the fliers between the two cities utilised the discount sale to their benefit the most, with travel portals saying the sector witnessed a surge in bookings up to 817 per cent.
