College girl raped by seniors

A first year engineering student was allegedly raped by two of her seniors, who are twins, police said on Sunday.

The girl in her complaint lodged on Saturday alleged that the two brothers, her seniors in college, had raped her on February 23 after taking her to their house at Thudiyalur here, police said.


Acting on the complaint, police on Sunday took into custody the two students for interrogation in the presence of a senior police official, they said.

The girl’s parents are in the Middle East, police said.
